"Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about it." -- Oscar Wilde
Actually, it was sunny and hot as hell. I couldn't sleep, so I pulled out the old laptop and started jotting down some things that had been on my mind, hoping it would calm my overactive brain: food, sleep, a comfortable lap, birds outside the window (mocking little bastards). I hoped it would all make sense once I got it down on paper (so to speak). Well, it didn't help much that afternoon -- I ended up awake for another twenty minutes -- but it sparked something in me. And ever since then, anytime I need to work something out, or just can't sleep more than 10 hours, I know exactly what to do.
